Homework Schedule

After writing my last blog I decided to post a picture of my homework schedule. (The yellow boxes are all my classes and the red boxes are the time I set aside to do homework) As you can see when I am done with class I like to get my homework done right away. This helps because the material is fresh in my mind. And once I am done I have the rest of the afternoon to fill my schedule with activities. I hope this helps when creating your own schedule and allows you to plan ahead.

*** Keep in mind this schedule only shows my classes and homework time. Later on in this blog I will add on my work schedule and clubs/activities schedule.

Staying on top of school work

School should be your first priority. In order to stay on top of your school work you need to have a planner and know how to use it!

Buy a planner!
- If you don’t have a planner there is no point of reading this blog. Without a planner you cant keep track of your assignments, projects or tests. Which I guarantee will cause you to stress out. So please buy a planner! (Staples sell them for around $7.00)

Keeping track of your planner - If you already have a planner make sure you bring it to every class. That way when you get an assignment you can write it down right away. I like to write my assignments down on the date they are due so I know when I need to get them done.

Following your planner - When you get an assignment make sure you do it right away and don’t leave it to the night before it is due. Right after class is the best time to get your assignments done because the material is fresh in your mind, and if you don’t understand something you have time to get extra help. I promise if you use your planner properly and do your assignments early you wont feel stressed about classes.
